Feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) is a highly contagious infectious pathogen of cats globally. However, there is no information on the molecular identification and characterization of FPV in Bangladesh. Here, 8.16% (8/98) and 18.37% (18/98) of diarrheic cats tested positive for FPV by an immunochromatography (IC) test and PCR, respectively. The IC test showed 44.44% sensitivity and 100% specificity in comparison with PCR. Our newly sequenced Bangladeshi FPV strain (MN826076) showed the highest (99.71%) sequence identity to strains from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Strain MN826076 contained two characteristic amino acid variations in VP2 identifying it as an FPV strain valine at position 103 and aspartic acid at position 323. Phylogenetically, the VP2 of strain MN826076 was found to be closely related to 19 FPV strains, sharing the same clade. Previous research suggests that eating disorders may be associated with certain personality profiles; however, there is limited research investigating associations with night eating syndrome (NES). This research suggests harm avoidance personality trait is higher in NES individuals than in the general population, however, evidence of associations with other personality traits is inconsistent. To understand which personality traits are associated with NES symptoms, the current study aimed to improve understanding of the relationship between NES symptoms and a range of personality traits, addressing limitations in the earlier literature in this area by controlling for common confounders. Strain AK62T shares average nucleotide identity (ANIb, based on BLAST) of 78.44, 76.69, and 76.95% with M. sediminicola CGMCC 1.7287T, M. stanieri DSM 7027T, and Marinobacterium halophilum Mano11T respectively. Based on the observed phenotypic, chemotaxonomic characteristics, and phylogenetic analysis, strain AK62T is described in this study as a novel species in the genus Marinobacterium, for which the name Marinobacterium alkalitolerans sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain of M. alkalitolerans is AK62T (= MTCC 12102T = JCM 31159T = KCTC 52667T). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical outcomes of patients who were treated with an arthroscopic popliteus bypass (PB) technique, in cases of a posterolateral rotational instability (PLRI) and a concomitant posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury of the knee. This was a retrospective case series in which 23 patients were clinically evaluated after a minimum of 2years following arthroscopic PB and combined PCL reconstruction. Lysholm, Tegner and Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome scores as well as visual analog scales (VAS) for joint function and pain were evaluated. Posterior laxity was objectified with stress radiography and a Rolimeter examination. Rotational instability was graded with the dial test. 23 patients were available for follow-up, 46.0 ± 13.6 months after surgery. The median time interval from the initial injury to the surgery was 6.0 (3.5;10.5) months. The postoperative Lysholm Score was 95.0 (49-100); the Tegner Score changed from 6.0 (3-10) before the injury to 5.0 (0-10) at the follow-up examination (p = 0.013). The side-to-side difference on stress radiography (SSD) of posterior translation changed from 10.4 (6.6-14.8) mm before the injury to 4.0 (0.2-5.7) mm postoperatively (p < 0.01). Rotational instability was reduced to grade A (82.6%) or B (17.4%) (IKDC). The Rolimeter SSD was 2.0 (0-3) mm at the follow-up examination.VASFunction 0 (0-5), VAS pain 0 (0-6). The arthroscopic PB graft technique provided good-to-excellent clinical results in the mid-term follow-up in patients with type A PLRI and concomitant PCL injury. However, an exact differentiation of lateral, rotational and dorsal instabilities of posterolateral corner (PLC) injuries is crucial,for the correct choice of therapy, as cases with lateral instabilities require more complex reconstruction techniques. Arthroscopic posterolateral corner reconstruction is a safe procedure with a high success rate in the mid-term follow-up. IV.IV. The objective of this article is to report associated anomaly incidences of a large CS cohort and analyze interrelationships among vertebral anomaly types and associated abnormalities. We retrospectively searched and extracted medical records of 1289 CS inpatients surgically treated in our institute from January 2010 to December 2019. All patients have taken spine X-ray, CT, MRI, echocardiogram, urogenital ultrasound, and systemic physical examination. We analyzed information on demographics, CS types, and associated anomalies. CS type was found to be 49.1% for failure of formation (FF), 19.5% for failure of segmentation (FS), and 31.4% for mixed defects (MD). Intraspinal defects were found in 29.4% patients (16.0% for FF, 45.4% for FS, 40.5% for MD), cardiac in 13.7% (12.3% for FF, 14.3% for FS, 15.6% for MD), genitourinary in 5.8% (4.1% for FF, 6.0% for FS, 8.4% for MD), gastrointestinal in 3.6% (4.7% for FF, 1.6% for FS, 3.0% for MD), and musculoskeletal in 16.4% (10.3% for FF, 19.9% for FS, 23.7% for MD).
